Lil Wayne: Carter IV

Louisiana rapper Lil Wayne released the ninth studio album "Tha Carter IV" on 29th August 2011. Lil Wayne worked on this hip-hop album after he got out of prison on November 2010. He spent eight months in Rikers Island because of gun charge. Tha Carter IV is a disappointment after masterpieces Tha Carter II and Tha Carter III.

Lil Wayne is called the best rapper in the US. He collaborated with Jay-Z on his previous albums. He collaborated with Drake, Cory Gunz, T-Pain, Tech N9ne, Andre 3000, Rick Ross, John Legend, Bruno Mars, Jadakiss, Bun B, Nas, Shyne and Busta Rhymes on album "Carter IV".

Songs "President Carter", "John" and "She Will" featuring Drake are the best from this album. "President Carter" has anti-war lyrics. Wayne says, "If I die today, remember me like John Lennon" in the song "John". The lead hard-rapping single is called "6 Foot 7 Foot". This single was released on 16th December 2010 and placed No.9 on the Billboard Hot 100.
